This book is a quick read, but contains the same old information that has been passed down for years. Be responsible, return phone calls, do annual reviews, and you can't succeed without a good Farmers District Manager. Write high end clients, not low end, be likable and use a process to cross sell. Oh, Make sure you always answer the phone. In the event your carrier doesn't pay then write a $18,000 check out of your own pocket? Are you kidding me? If your carrier says it's covered then denies it, I recommend that you find a new carrier partner! Hard work and having a vision is a way to grow an agency which is also mentioned but I found no real solutions or big takeaways. Instead it seems very geared to making a Farmers Career sound better.
This is a must read to for any insurance professional. I've been an agent for 4 years and this Boone have really helped me with some basic fundamentals to be able to run my business more successfully.
